Easton Man Charged in Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties

CENTREVILLE, MD – An Easton man has been charged with multiple offenses in two counties following a manhunt on Kent Island yesterday.  Jason Andrew Grimes, 32, is charged in Queen Anne’s County with failure to obey a lawful order, resisting and interfering with arrest, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of less than $100.  He was also served a bench warrant from Talbot County for failure to appear on a June assault charge as well as an April arrest warrant for telephone misuse, harassment, and electronic mail harassment.

In addition to those charges, Deputy Dale Patrick of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s office said that Grimes was a "person of interest" in a series of vehicle breakings and enterings and thefts from vehicles on Kent Island.”  He is being held on $20,000 bond at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.
