MILTON, DE – The Milton Town Council is looking into paving heavily potholed streets in the Shipbuilder’s Village neighborhood. Funding would come from leftover state funds as well as the municipal street aid account.
Shipbuilder’s resident Patti Rowley said this project is long overdue.
“Not only is it bad for appearance, but it’s also a safety hazard,” she said. “My daughter riding her bike has fallen. When I was 39 weeks pregnant in October, I was walking … and fell.”
She said she’s counted at least 27 pot holes in the community.
