LEWES, DE – After toying with the idea of moving out to Five Points, the Lewes Library Board has selected a site adjacent to the current library and will begin the task of raising funds for the construction of a new library. The board chose construction of a new library over renovation of the existing building arguing that the costs were close and a new building will provide at least 15 years of additional useful life over that offered by a renovated building.
